LGBT History and Old Bailey Online

February is LGBT History MonthThe Old Bailey Proceedings is a rich resource for gay history and our background page has a detailed discussion and advice on using the website as a source.

(But please note that we have only brief records of the Oscar Wilde trials; these were censored by the Proceedings publishers, as was common in 19th-century trial reports.)

The National Archives also has a useful guide on gay and lesbian history.
