London Lives user facilities

London Lives 1690-1800 isn’t just a bunch of digitised archives for 18th-century London. It also offers a set of user facilities that are specifically designed to aid researchers. If you sign up for a user account you get the following

  • a user workspace to save references to people of interest to you (with a basic export facility)
  • record linkage facilities – link together scattered references to the same person into what we’ve called Sets. You can also link related people together into Groups.
  • access to extended search features – occupation, location and age data – that are not available to users who are not logged in
  • it also enables you to add content to the London Lives User Wiki.

You can sign up for an account here (and you’ll be able to use the same login details for an Old Bailey Online user account).
